Polyamide breaks are thermal breaks that are composed of a fibreglass compound so that they can easily bend. The material prevents cracking, but it creates increased insulation in the building and decreases the likelihood of condensation or fogged up units. Polyamide is used often with aluminium products because they share many of the same properties, and it won’t distort in extreme heat or cold.
Aluminium bifold doors are a fantastic option for residential or commercial projects when you want to create that ‘patio’ feel. Bifolds work exceptionally well for restaurants and homes, creating an uninterrupted transition from interior to exterior.
Sliding patio doors make sense in places with limited space but don’t offer quite the same view that an aluminium bifold door will.
